Treating Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, Speech Delay, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Auditory Processing Disorder and other Developmental Delays

A Complete Listening Therapy and Sensory-Movement Program Designed Just for Your
Toddler, Pre-Schooler, Elementary, Middle and High School Student!
We have targeted the population with special needs, because we know that they are the most vulnerable, yet the most reachable and responsive population with a listening therapy such as this. Early intervention is KEY! Choose one of our listening programs that is right for your child and your budget. Let Little Be.a.r. be part of your therapy team.
What is Little Bear Listening Therapy?
Little Bear Listening Therapy is a revolutionary listening program stimulating both the auditory system (hearing system) and vestibular system (body and sensory system) that we have developed to teach the ears to gather sound better, strengthen the ear muscles and in doing so allows the brain to process more efficiently and effectively. Little Be.a.r.'s classical music has been specially engineered in a sound studio to give your toddler an intense workout by using the audible spectrum to both ignite and dampen sound frequencies in a methodical and developmental approach to strengthen the middle ear muscles so that the ears can bring in the sounds they need while keep out the distracting sounds, as well as help the ear discriminate between frequencies of sound which will positively affect their sensory integration and auditory processing. What is the Science behind Little Be.a.r. Listening Therapy?
The foundation for Little Be.a.r. is patterned after the way a fetus hears sounds in-utero. As the mother speaks, only
the high frequencies in her voice are rapidly channeled through her skeletal system to the fetus. This is the only way
a fetus can hear its mother’s voice. The high frequencies carry consonants such as (f/s/p/t/) and consonant blends
such as (sh/th/ch/). Being able to hear these high-frequency sounds, in essence, creates the desire for the fetus to
communicate, wires the fetus for language and prepares it to hear and attach meaning to language outside the
womb, when it is born. It also enables the baby to turn in the direction of the mother's voice and sets the stage
for bonding and attachment with the mother. We can re-create this liquid environment of the womb using both classical arrangements that carry these high frequencies, but also use the mother's voice when possible to simulate this environment. The underlying theme here is that the voice will only be able to say the frequencies that the ear can perceive - a reason why most children with Autism are non-verbal. Their ears aren't picking up the entire audible spectrum. My Child Doesn't Listen Well and Has Speech Delay. Click Here.

Why We Use Mozart to Train Your Child's Ears?
In re-creating the environment as a fetus once heard it to re-awaken a child to language and
communication, we have chosen the classical compositions of Mozart. Keep in mind, this is music that
has been digitally altered in a recording studio to bring out the sounds that stimulate the brain. We are
not just putting a CD of Mozart in and listening to it for 30 minutes. Mozart is wonderful, but the addition
of our neuro-sonic (brain-ear) techniques (the E.A.R. formula) makes this music that much more
therapeutic for your child with speech delay, sensory integration dysfunction, and auditory processing disorder.
One of the many functions of the ear is to charge the brain; to stimulate the cortex so as to bring about desired results from
functions that reside in this area of the brain. To that end, Mozart has been the most researched music to arouse the brain and put order back into the nervous system. Research concluded that Mozart was perhaps the most simple, pure, and repetitive - the brain loves repetition. With respect to charging the brain, it has the greatest effect and impact, which other composers don't have. In terms of being suitable for a listening therapy, Mozart has more high frequencies readily available to stimulate the brain and jump-start your child's language. The Power of One's Own Voice
Children can use their own voice to stimulate their ear and produce language. While bathing the ear
in this modulated music in essence "awakens" listening gradually over time, the audio-vocal exercises
of speaking into a microphone will create an ear-voice feedback loop in their headphones. They will be
able to hear themselves and play with their voice so that the ear becomes a stimulus for the voice to
produce language. Exercises such as babbling, humming, chanting, singing, repeating sounds, sentences
or phrases will all have a beneficial outcome on posture, facial expression, reading, writing, socialization
and quality of life. This audio-vocal phase is like the glue that ties all the listening together. It's a very important phase. This audio-vocal phase is incorporated in one of our Treatment Programs.
